River House Lodge
River House Lodge is ideally
located on the north bank of the Sittee River just a few
minutes upstream from the Caribbean Sea and just ten
miles from the only Jaguar preserve in the world, the
Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Preserve.
Our secluded location and
first rate amenities allow guests an opportunity to
explore all the natural beauty of this
tropical paradise, while still providing the comforts of
home, including good food/drink, and at an affordable price.
From one of our six air
conditioned rooms you can either sit and relax on your own
screened-in private veranda and enjoy the quiet river jungle
setting or take a nap on one of our luxury beds after
returning from an adventure.
The main
building has a restaurant, full service bar (with
satellite TV),
wireless internet access, and heated swimming pool.
